Selected elemental principles of film and theatre speech

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl přiblížit téma filmové hudby v kontextu historického vývoje ve Spojených státech amerických a v Evropě. Zároveň se zaměřuje na odlišnosti tvorby filmové a scénické hudby, se kterou sdílí několik společných znaků. Práce se snaží ukázat filmovou hudební tvorbu jako svébytnou složku filmového umění, které ji za velmi krátkou dobu své existence přijalo jako svoji nedílnou součást.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis puts a goal to approach the topic of movie soundtrack in the context of historical development both in the United States of America and Europe. Simultaneously is the thesis focused on differences within creation of movie and scenic music which the firstly mentioned one shares few common characteristics with. The thesis strives to show movie soundtrack creation as a unique element of the film art and that film art adopted it as its integral part, despite its short period of existence.
