Burnout Syndrome Experienced by Workers of Chosen Workplaces of Archdiocese Charity Olomouc

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou syndromu vyhoření, jež se velmi často vyskytuje u pracovníků pomáhajících profesí. Teoretická část vymezuje samotný syndrom vyhoření, jeho klasifikaci a fáze. Dále zmiňuje nejčastější projevy a také kategorizaci příčin vzniku. Věnuje se i možnostem prevence tohoto jevu. Poté popisuje pracovníky pomáhajících profesí, jejich předpoklady a dovednosti, profesní rozvoj a spojitost se syndromem vyhoření. V praktické části je hlavním cílem zjištění míry syndromu vyhoření u pracovníků vybraných pracovišť Arcidiecézní charity Olomouc, a to formou dotazníkového šetření, který je, mimo jiné, sestaven ze standardizovaného dotazníku MBI.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of burnout syndrome, which is very common with the workers of helping professions. The theoretical part defines the burnout syndrome itself, its classification and phases. It also mentions the most frequent manifestations as well as the categorization of causes of its origin. It also deals with the possibilities of prevention of the syndrome. It describes the workers of helping professions, their requirements and skills, their professional development and their connection with the burnout syndrome. In the practical part, the main objective is to find out the extent of burnout syndrome of the employees of selected workplaces of the Archdiocese Charity Olomouc, in the form of a questionnaire survey, which is besides other things compiled from a standardized MBI questionnaire.
