Pre dobre fungujúcu trhovú ekonomiku je nevyhnutná dokonalá konkurencia, ktorá je predpokladom efektívnej hospodárskej súťaže. Ochrana a tvorba hospodárskej súťaže v SR musí v súčasnosti vychádzať zo záverov a koncepcie súťažnej politiky EÚ.
