Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřená na rentabilitu vložených investic do terciálního vzdělávání, kdy zvýšení vzdělání pomáhá ke zlepšení postavení na pracovním trhu. V diplomové práci je představen výzkum, který byl realizován formou dotazníkového šetření v Jižních Čechách a byl zaměřen na absolventy vysokých škol technického, manažerského a ekonomického typu, kteří působí v podnicích průmyslového charakteru. Cílem výzkumu bylo predikovat průměrnou dobu návratnosti investice do vzdělání u oslovených absolventů. K naplnění cíle práce a zodpovězení hlavních výzkumných otázek bylo využito několik výzkumných metod, a sice analýza dostupných literárních zdrojů, dále dotazníkové šetření a výpočty dynamických metod zhodnocení investic. Na základě syntézy poznatků bylo možné stanovit predikci průměrné doby návratnosti v různých modelových situacích, kdy vyšlo, že návratnost je závislá na druhu studia, výše vložených investičních prostředků a jejich zdrojů, avšak v převážné většině je studium vysoce rentabilní a jeho návratnost je v nejdelším časovém úseku cca 7 let. Omezení výzkumu bylo v úzkém vzorku absolventů a zasazení výzkumu do jednoho kraje.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the profitability of investment in tertiary education, where increasing education helps to improve the position in the labor market. The diploma thesis presents research that was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey in South Bohemia and was focused on graduates of technical, managerial and economic universities who work in companies of an industrial nature. The aim of the research was to predict the average payback period of investment in education for the addressed graduates. Several research methods were used to fulfill the aim of the thesis and to answer the main research questions, namely the analysis of available literary sources, as well as a questionnaire survey and calculations of dynamic methods of investment evaluation. Based on the synthesis of knowledge, it was possible to determine the average payback period in various model situations, where it turned out that the return depends on the type of study, the amount of investment and their resources, but the vast majority of studies are highly profitable and return is seen after a period, at most, of about 7 years. The limitations of the research were in the narrow sample of graduates and the placement of the research in one region.
