The Budget of the Town of Svitavy and its Environmental Activity

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je "Rozpočet obce Svitavy a její environmentální aktivita``. Zabývá se oblastí veřejných rozpočtů v ČR. V teoretické části se nejprve věnuje struktuře rozpočtů obcí v současné ČR, dále jsou popsány vazby obecních rozpočtů na SR, rozpočet kraje, obyvatele a podnikatelské subjekty. V závěru této části jsou zmíněny možnosti obcí v čerpání a využívání grantů, dotací a subvencí. Praktická část se zaměřuje pouze na obec Svitavy. Nejdříve je město charakterizováno hlavně z hlediska ekonomického, environmentálního a demografického.Poté se práce věnuje analýze rozpočtů města v letech 2002 - 2007, dále pak je konkrétněji popsána environmentální stránka rozpočtu a nakonec je zmíněno využívání grantů a dotací.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is "The Budget of the Town of Svitavy and its Environmental Activity{\crqq}. It is engaged in sphere of public budgets in the Czech Republic. At first it deals with the structure of town budgets in the Czech Republic in the theoretical part and next are definitions of connections of the municipal budget to the national and regional budget, as well as to inhabitants and business entities. Possibilities of obtaining and drawing subsidies and grants by towns are also mentioned at the end of this part. The practical part is focused on the Town of Svitavy. First of all, the town is characterized especially from the economical, environmental and demographic point of view. Then the thesis attends to analyze the budget of the town from 2002 until 2007.particularlyEnvironmental aspects of the budget are particularly described in the following chapter. The conclusion refers to exploitation of subsidies and grants.
