Diversity Management and Its Impact on Employee Performance

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá diversity managementem, tedy fenoménem, který staví na různorodosti na pracovišti a prosazuje efektivitu práce v diverzním, tedy různorodém týmu. Mnoho českých pracovišť již tento nový manažerský přístup uplatňuje, nicméně v zahraničí je tato manažerská strategie více obvyklá. Tato diplomová práce charakterizuje a konkretizuje myšlenku diversity managementu na pracovišti a současně předkládá výhody tohoto konceptu v jeho uplatnění ve společnosti. Posléze tato diplomová práce nejenom srovnává aktuální situaci práce v diversity managementu v českém prostředí a v zahraničí, jako rovněž vyzdvihuje benefity a prospěch diversity managementu na výkon zaměstnance. Tato diplomová práce obecně vychází z premisy, že výkon zaměstnance je prací v diversity managementu stimulován pozitivně.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with diversity management, a phenomenon that is established on diversity in the workplace and promotes the effectiveness of work in a heterogeneous, i.e. diverse team. Many Czech workplaces are already applying this new managerial approach, but abroad this management strategy is more common. This diploma thesis characterizes and concretizes the idea of management diversity in the workplace and at the same time presents the advantages of this concept in its application in society. Finally, this diploma thesis not only compares the current situation in diversity management in the Czech environment and abroad, but also highlights the benefits and benefits of diversity management on employee performance. This thesis is generally based on the assumption that employee performance is positively stimulated by work in management diversity.
