Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou klimatických změn a jejich dopadů na zdraví a úmrtnost populace ČR v roce 2016. V teoretické části práce jsou charakterizovány základní informace o změnách klimatu a negativní vlivy teplotních extrémů počasí na zdraví populace. V rámci statistického vyhodnocení byla zkoumána úmrtnost obyvatel ČR a okresu Karlovy Vary. Během působení vysokých a nízkých teplot byl zjištěn významný nárůst úmrtnosti. Dále byly porovnávány různé skupiny obyvatelstva podle pohlaví a věku a na základě toho byly vyhodnoceny ohrožené skupiny populace. V závěru jsou navržena řešení, která by mohla pomoci zmírnění negativních dopadů extrémů počasí na zdraví člověka.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of climate change and its impact on the health and mortality of population of the Czech Republic in 2016. The theoretical part of the thesis describes basic information about climate change and the negative effects of weather extremes on health of population. In the framework of the statistical evaluation was investigated the mortality of the population of the Czech Republic and the Karlovy Vary district. High mortality rates were observed during high and low temperatures. In addition, the different population groups were compared according to gender and age, and on the basis of which vulnerable population groups were evaluated. In the end, solutions are proposed that could help mitigate the negative impacts of weather extremes on human health.
