Abstract:
Barevné vidění je schopnost vnímat jednotlivé složky světelného spektra podle jejich vlnové délky. Rozlišovat barvy je schopen nejen člověk, ale v různé míře i četní jiní živočichové. Práce je zaměřena na shrnutí poznatků o barvě světla, barvě jako takové a principech vnímání barevných podnětů. Popisuje i jednotlivé typy očí, které se u živočichů vyskytují. Not only humans are able to distinguish between colours, but many other animals are able to in varied degrees.
