Abstract:

Alternativní přístupy k porodu pohledem porodní asistentky Porod je jednou ze základních životních etap. Normální a nedílnou součástí porodu je porodní bolest. Je to jeden ze základních atributů, které může porodní asistentka ovlivnit, a to jak pozitivně tak negativně. Existuje celá škála přístupů, které porodní asistentka může využít, aby rodičce zajistila porod, jaký si představovala. Porodní asistentka ovlivňuje průběh porodu od přijetí rodičky na porodní sál, až po její přeložení na oddělení šestinedělí. Zajišťuje týmovou spolupráci se zdravotnickým personálem, seznamuje rodičku s prostředím, s průběhem porodu a možnostmi, jež dané zařízení nabízí. Dále svými schopnostmi, dovednostmi, zkušenostmi co se týká individuálního přístupu k rodičce a doprovodu, vedení porodu a využití metod tlumení bolesti ovlivňuje psychiku, pocit úspěchu a spokojenosti rodičky a tím celý porod. V empirické části jsem navázala na část teoretickou, kde jsem rozvinula pohled na vývoj alternativních přístupů až do současnosti. Otázka alternativy je totiž mnohem širší, než jak jí je běžně věnována pozornost. Proto jsem se ve své práci zaměřila na komplexní charakteristiku alternativních přístupů a na postoj odborné veřejnosti, konkrétně porodních asistentek k nim. Cílem mé práce je zhodnotit přístup porodních asistentek k alternativám v kontextu jejich věku, názoru a standardu pracoviště. Dále zjistit míru vzdělanosti a zájem o rozšíření vědomostí v alternativních metodách. V praktické části jsem vytvořila dotazník. Data z něj jsem následně zanalyzovala (matematicky a graficky) a vyhodnotila.

Abstract:

Alternative approaches to childbirth as seen by a nurse-midwife Childbirth is one of the basic life periods. The pain of birth is a normal, integral part of birthing. It is one of the fundamental attributes which can be influenced by a nurse-midwifeboth positively and negatively. There is a wide range of approaches which a nurse-midwife can make the best of to ensure birthing for the mother as she has imagined. A nurse-midwife influences the progress of childbirth from the moment the mother-to-be enters the delivery room until she is transferred to the post-natal ward. She ensures team work with the medical staff, informs the mother about her surrounding, about the process of the delivery and the opportunities offered by the particular facility. Urthermore the nurse-midwife influences the psyche, the sense of achievement and content of the mother and therefore influences the whole childbirth thanks to her competence, skills and experience, as far as the individual approach to the mother and her support people is concerned, as well as the progress of labor and delivery using pain-relieving methods. In the empiric part I followed the theoretical part in which I expanded the insight into the development of alternative approaches up to present times. The issue of alternatives is actually much wider than it is commonly taken into consideration. Therefore in my work I have focused on complex characteristics of alternative approaches and the attitude of the professional public, specifically the attitude of the nurse-midwives. The objective of my work is to evaluate the approach of nurse-midwives to the alternatives in the context of their ages, opinions and standards of their place of work. Another objective is to determine the standard of education and their interest to extend their knowledge in alternative methods. In the practical part I made a questionnaire. Consequently, I analysed the data from the questionnaire (mathematically and graphically) and evaluated them.
