Building and Management of the Branch Business Team in Universal Bank

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem mé bakalářské práce je zaměřit se na aspekty a přínosy pro personální práci uplatněním stylu řízení leadership – vůdcovství. Zaměřím se na to, jaké kroky podniká významný bankovní ústav v ČR, který si ovšem nepřál uvézt svůj název v této práci. Pokouším se o porovnání direktivního stylu řízení s vůdcovstvím při budování a vedení obchodního týmu na pobočce bankovního ústavu a detailněji se zaměřuji, jak na teoretický pohled na vůdcovství, tak i jeho samotnou aplikaci v praxi. Dále teoreticky popisuji charakteristiku managementu, stylu řízení a stylu leadership. Ústřední pasáž vychází z mé praktické zkušenosti s vedením lidí a ze zkušenosti s přístupy k leadership v bankovním sektoru z pohledu manažera střední úrovně řízení. Uvádím, jak banka mění požadavky na manažerskou práci vedoucích pracovníků, jakým způsobem provádí změny v myšlení vedoucích pracovníků a jaké nástroje k tomu využívá. Vyjadřuji své názory a poznání z praktické aplikace bankou požadovaných nových postupů v souvislosti s budováním a vedením týmu, poznáváním lidí a především s používanými komunikačními technikami jako nástroji motivace a inspirace řízených lidí. Porovnávám praktická zjištění s teoretickými očekáváními banky z implementace nových přístupů manažerů při vedení lidí. V závěru práce se zamýšlím nad budoucím vývojem v oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů.

Abstract:

Principal aim of the Bachelor's work is to target the personal work aspects and contributions by exercise of managerial style leadership - the leadership. I would like to focus to the action taken by one of the most significant bank institution in the CR. Due to internal policy I must keep the name of the institution undisclosed. I would like to compare directive managerial style with the leadership when building business team at bank subsidiary. In detail I would like to focus to theoretic side of view to the leadership, as well as its applications into the practice Furthermore I describe management characteristics and leadership style. The key section comes out from my professional experiences in the field of staff leadership from middle management level view and from the experienced attitude to the leadership. I am bringing the topic in the line of bank demands changes to the managerial work of its managers, and to their ways of the changes in the mind as well as the tools they are using to reach those changes. I present my opinion and knowledge based on my experience related to bank new requirements based on team building, team leadership, staff analyzing and used communication techniques as primary tool for motivation and inspiration of the subordinate staff. I compare technical findings with the bank theoretical expectations on the manager's new attitude implementation. In the conclusion I propose future development in the human resources field.
