Geography of alternative food networks focused on agricultural food production and distribution on the example of the Ústí Region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá alternativními potravinovými sítěmi v Ústeckém kraji. Dále řeší distribuci potravin od producenta ke spotřebiteli. Práce je rozdělena na 2 větší celky, kterými je teoretická a praktická část. V teoretické části jsou diskutovány vybrané koncepty týkající se geografie jídla, APS a také je zachycen vývoj zemědělsko-potravinového systému v Česku z hlediska předpokladů pro rozvoj APS. Praktická část obsahuje výsledky vlastního šetření a odpovědi na otázky stanovené v úvodní části práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with alternative food networks in the Ústí Region. It also deals with the distribution of food from producer to consumer. The thesis is divided into 2 larger units, which is the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, selected concepts related to the geography of food, alternative food networks are discussed and also the development of the agri-food system in the Czech Republic in terms of prerequisites for the development of alternative food networks is captured. The practical part contains the results of its own investigation and answers to the questions set out in the introductory part of the thesis.
