The impact of working therapy, leisure time activities physiotherapeutical nursing on senior citizens in a retirement home with specialized care

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit vliv pracovní terapie, volnočasových aktivit a rehabilitačního ošetřování na seniory v domovech se zvláštním režimem. Teoretická část práce se zabývá obdobím stáří - především změn a poruch v oblasti duševních a tělesných funkcí u seniorů. Dále obecně charakterizuje ústavy sociální péče a popisuje problematiku odborných terapií a rehabilitačního ošetřování. V analytické části je vypracována analýza vlivu pracovní terapie, volnočasových aktivit a rehabilitačního ošetřování na seniory prostřednictvím dotazníkové šetření určeného pracovníkům v domovech se zvláštním režimem. Na základě pravidelných pracovních terapií se seniory s duševními a tělesnými onemocněními, které probíhaly jeden měsíc, jsem vypracovala Barthelův test základních všedních činností (ADL) hodnotící závislost klienta v základních všedních činnostech a dále také test Mini-mental state examination (MMSE).

Abstract:

The main target of the Bachelor thesis is to determine the influence of work therapy, leisure activities and rehabilitative care for elderly people in homes with special conditions. The theoretical part deals with the period of old age - particularly of changes and disturbances in the mental and physical functions of elderly people. Furthermore, generally characterizes retirements homes and describes the problems of professional therapy and rehabilitation nursing. The analytical part is developed to analyze the influence of work therapy, leisure activities and rehabilitative care to seniors through a questionnaire for staff members in the retirements homes. On the basis of regular occupational therapy with older people with mental and physical illness, which lasted one month, I worked up Barthel test of basic activities of daily living (ADL) that evaluates an dependence of clients in daily living activities and also a test called Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE).
