Mining of mineral resources in Brno region as part of inquiry- based learning

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá možností představení tématu historie těžby nerostných surovin v brněnském regionu studentům všeobecného gymnázia, v rámci naplnění vybraných tematických okruhů průřezového tématu Environmentální výchova a jeho přínosů k rozvoji osobnosti žáka, dle Rámcového vzdělávacího programu pro gymnázia ve výuce Dějepisu. Druhým z cílů práce je pak využití tématu historie těžby nerostných surovin v regionu pro naplnění vzdělávacího obsahu vzdělávacího oboru Geologie, dle Rámcového vzdělávacího programu pro gymnázia, v rámci všeobecně vzdělávacího předmětu Dějepis. V první části práce je nejprve stručně shrnuta historie těžby v českých zemích a v brněnském regionu, posléze se práce věnuje environmentálnímu vzdělávání, především z hlediska průřezového tématu Environmentální výchova a vzdělávacímu oboru Geologie. Ve druhé části se práce věnuje konstrukci vyučovací hodiny za využití vybraných vyučovacích metod, kterými jsou badatelsky orientovaná výuka, informačně-receptivní metoda, dialogické vyučování a diskuze.

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis deals with the possibility of introducing the topic of the history of mining of mineral resources in the Brno region to general high school students, within the framework of fulfilling selected thematic areas of the cross-cutting topic Environmental education and its benefits to the development of the pupil's personality, according to the Framework educational program for high schools in the teaching of History. The second goal of the thesis is to use the topic of the history of mineral extraction in the region to fulfill the educational content of the Geology field of study, according to the Framework educational program for grammar schools, within the general education subject History. In the first part of the thesis, the history of mining in the Czech lands and in the Brno region is first briefly summarized, then the thesis is devoted to environmental education, especially from the point of view of the cross-cutting topic of Environmental Education and the educational field of Geology. In the second part, the work is devoted to the construction of the lesson using selected teaching methods, which are research-oriented teaching, information-receptive method, dialogic teaching and discussion.
