Response activity of the Fire rescue service of the capital city of Prague in case of fires with difficult conditions for intervention

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na Hasičský záchranný sbor hlavního města Prahy. Teoretická část práce obsahuje základní terminologii a legislativní vymezení řešené problematiky. Dále se věnuje historii, organizační struktuře, působnostem, úkolům a technice Hasičského záchranného sboru České republiky. Velká pozornost je věnována zejména ředitelství, hasičským stanicím hlavního města Prahy, problematice požárů v České republice i ve vybraných evropských státech. Praktická část se zabývá výzkumem pozitivních a negativních vlivů v průběhu zásahů, které jsou zjištěny pomocí případových studií a dotazníkových šetření. Vyhodnocuje činnosti i potřeby hasičů při zásahu a navrhuje možná opatření pro zvýšení efektivity jejich činnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the activities of the Fire and Rescue Service of the capital city of Prague. The thesis's theoretical part deals with the topics' basic terminology and legislative definition. It also deals with the history, organizational structure, scope, tasks, and tools and engines used by the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The attention is paid in particular to the Directorate, Prague fire stations, and the occurrence of fires in the Czech Republic and selected European countries. The practical part deals with the positive and negative effects occurring during the interventions, which are determined using case studies and questionnaire surveys. It evaluates the activities and needs of firefighters during an intervention and suggests possible measures to increase the effectiveness of their activities.
