The main goal of my diploma thesis is to place the creation of the Czechoslovakian army into the international context. The partial research questions examine how these preparations were influenced by the Soviet union and how this influence shaped the economy, officer corps and build-ing of military capacities. Hlavným cieľom mojej diplomovej práce je zasadiť budovanie čes-koslovenskej armády do medzinárodného kontextu. Čiastkové výskumné otázky skúmajú, akým spôsobom ovplyvnil tieto prípravy Sovietsky zväz a akým spôsobom sa tento vplyv prejavil na československej ekonomike, dôstojníckom zbore a budovaní vojenských kapacít.
