A officer in charge of youth at risk in the system of social law protection of children

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce pojednává o kurátorovi pro děti a mládež v systému sociálně-právní ochrany dětí. Hlavním cílem práce je přiblížit a vysvětlit funkci orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí, kurátorů pro mládež a především se zaměřit na postup kurátorů při práci s dětmi a mladistvými, kteří se dopouštějí protiprávního jednání a které mají další výchovné problémy. V teoretické části představuji historické a legislativní ukotvení sociálně-právní ochrany dětí, charakterizuji kurátora pro děti a mládež a jeho náplň práce. Věnuji pozornost důvodům obtíží klientů kurátora pro mládež a jejich podíl při socializaci dítěte. Současně popisuji samotnou sociální práci kurátora s rizikovou mládeží v oblasti primární, sekundární a terciální prevence. V aplikační části bakalářské práce uvádím případové studie, na kterých představuji konkrétní proces sociální práce kurátora pro mládež s klientem. Součásti studie je také analýza práce s klientem, která je částečně podrobena i kritickému rozboru.

Abstract:

The present thesis deals with the curator for children and youth in the System of Social and Legal Child protection. The main goal of the thesis is to describe and explain the function of the body of the Social and Legal Child Protection, curators for youth and mainly focus on the proceedings of curators when working with children and adolescents, who commit offenses and have other behavioral problems. In the theoretical part I present the historical and legislative background of the Social and Legal Child Protection, characterize curator for children and youth, and his job description. I pay attention to the reasons of difficulties for the client's curator for youth and their share in the socialization of children. At the same time I describe the actual social work of curator working with young people at risk in the primary, secondary and tertiary area of prevention. In the application part of the thesis I present the case studies, which I use as a basis for the presentation of the particular process of social work of youth curator with a client. The study includes an analysis of work with the client, which is partly also subjected to a critical analysis.
