Abstract:
Protein complex Smc5/6 (Structural Maintenance of Chromosomes) is essential for maintaining stability of chromatin. It is formed by dimer Smc5-Smc6 and subunits Nse1-6. Presumably, complex has a „ring-like“ structure which is closed by subunit Nse4, known as kleisin. Proteinový komplex Smc5/6 (Structural Maintenance of Chromosomes) je potřebný při udržování stability chromatinu. Je tvořen dimerem Smc5-Smc6 a podjednotkami Nse1-6. Má nejspíše kruhovou strukturu, která je uzavřena podjednotkou Nse4, zvanou kleisin.
