Benefit Analysis in the Building Company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou zaměstnaneckých benefitů v konkrétní stavební společnosti a odpovídá na hlavní výzkumnou otázku: „Jak odpovídá současná nabídka benefitů potřebám klíčových zaměstnanců ve společnosti XYZ?“ Cílovou skupinou výzkumu jsou klíčoví zaměstnanci společnosti, kteří v ní působí průměrně již 20 let. Téma práce bylo stanoveno po dohodě s personalistou společnosti XYZ. Výzkumnou technikou bylo zvoleno studium interních dokumentů a polostrukturované rozhovory. Výzkumná zjištění byla analyzována a interpretována tak, aby mohla odpovědět na HVO. Chápání benefitů jako běžné součásti pracovního vztahu, která nemotivuje k výkonům, nedostatečná informovanost v podniku, obecné a nepřehledné pojetí nabídky výhod zakotvené jen v koletivní smlouvě a identifikované potřeby klíčových pracovníků ukazují, že současný systém benefitů neuspokojuje potřeby vybrané skupiny zaměstnanců. Závěrem předkládám doporučení pro personální oddělení společnosti k jejich internímu využití.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of employee benefits in a specific construction company and answers the main research question: How does the offer of the current benefits meet the needs of the key employees of a particular company? The main focus of this study are the employees who have been working for the company for 20 years on average. The topic of this thesis was set after a discussion with an HR manager of the particular company. Study of the internal documents and semi-structured interviews were used as a research method. The research findings were analyzed and interpreted to answer the main research question. Understanding benefits as a common part of work relations that has no power to motivate employees in general, lack of information in the company, general concept of benefit offer desribed only in the collective contract and the identified needs of the key employees have revealed that the current benefit system does not satisfy the needs of the key workers. Suggestions based on the findings are presented in the conclusion to the HR department of the company to be used internally.
