Financial analysis of the selected company

Abstract:

The thesis is designated to the problematic of financial analysis in ZVL AUTO Inc. The main goal of the thesis is to determine the financial health of subject with help of chosen methods and through that to propose possible conclusions to rise the financial situation of the company. The thesis is divided to four chapters. It includes, 14 tables, 4 graphs and 3 attachments. The first chapter is designated to basic theoretical outcomes of financial management. Theoretical knowledge from common literature is used here. In following part, we are analysing subject on the base of data’s from the balance sheet and profits and loses account. In the next chapter , the main goal of discussing , is the company and its assets structure and finally, the section dedicated to financial analysis is following. Analysed data are including years 2009 to 2011, which are providing us of the exact look on the evolution and direction of the financial situation of the company. On base of these financial and economic analyses, in the last chapter, propositions of possible conclusions are made in separated fields of finance and economic management. The main goal of the propositions part is to reduce the risks of unfavourable situations and decreesing the outcomes of the company with proper solutions in different economical fields as well, with the goal of increasing of the financial situation of the company in the shortest possible time. These main methods were used in this thesis: observation, comparation, analysis, synthesis, basic mathematical counts.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca je venovaná problematike finančnej analýzy vykonanej v podniku ZVL AUTO spol. s r. o. Cieľom práce je zistenie finančného zdravia podniku pomocou vybraných metód a následne navrhnúť možné opatrenia na zlepšenie jeho finančnej situácie. Práca je rozdelená do štyroch kapitol. Obsahuje 14 tabuliek, č grafy a 3 prílohy. Prvá kapitola pojednáva o teoretickom vymedzení problematiky finančného riadenia. V bakalárskej práci sú použité teoretické poznatky dostupné z odbornej literatúry. V ďalšej časti sa rozoberá podnik a jeho majetková štruktúra a konečne nasleduje časť venujúca sa finančnej analýze ako dôležitej súčasti finančného riadenia. V analytickej časti sa rozoberá daný podnik na základe údajov zo súvahy a výkazu ziskov a strát. Skúmanými obdobiami sú roky 2009 až 2011, čo poskytuje presný pohľad na vývoj a smerovanie finančnej situácie podniku. Na základe týchto spracovaných finančno-ekonomických analýz sú v poslednej kapitole navrhnuté možné riešenia v jednotlivých oblastiach finančno-ekonomického riadenia. Cieľom návrhovej časti je hlavne redukovať riziko vzniku nepriaznivých situácií a zároveň znižovanie nákladov podniku vhodnými navrhovanými riešeniami v rôznych ekonomických oblastiach daného podniku na zlepšenie finančnej situácie v najbližšej dobe. Pri vypracovaní bakalárskej práce boli použité základné metódy: pozorovanie, porovnávanie, analýza, syntéza a jednoduché matematické výpočty.
