The role of the European Region Nisa for development of frontier regions

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci popisuji v teoretické části prvotní podněty ke vzniku regionů a regionální politiky. Blíže se věnuji rozdělení regionů a jednotlivým charakteristikám. Praktickou část jsem začala popisem historie daného území a jeho tradicemi. Dále zmiňuji cíle Euroregionu Nisa a jeho nástroje určené k plnění cílů společně s nástinem rozpočtu na rok 2009 a směry, na které se chce organizace zaměřit. Podrobně rozepisuji jednotlivé tematické oblasti, o které se starají pracovní skupiny, jejichž cílem je rozvoj v těchto oblastech. Popis rozvoje dělím na česko-polský a česko-německý program. V každém z programů je popis situace v pohraničí, iniciativa INTERREG III A a vybrané projekty, které se v rámci této iniciativy realizovali společně s jejich stručným popisem a náklady. Závěrem jsem doporučila zaměření na tematické oblasti, kde by byl dopad efektivnější, zlepšení marketingových činností a propagace, networking akademiků, pracovníků veřejné správy a podnikatelů a akce, které by více pomohli k odstranění uvažování administrativní hranice jako bariéry.

Abstract:

I describe in the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis initial impulses for creation of regions and regional politics. I pay more attention to deviding of regions and their particular specifications. I began the practical part of my thesis with description of history of the territory and its traditions. Further I mention goals of Euroregion Nisa und its procedures, which are determined to achieve these goals, outline of the budget for 2009 and directons which this organisation wants to focus on. I write in detail about each thematic section, which are taken care by work groups, their goal is development of these section. I devide description of development in 2 parts: a czech-polish and a czech-german program. Here is a description of situation in the borderland in each program. Further I write about initiative INTERREG III A and selected projects, which were realized within this initiative. I mention a brief desription and financial costs of these projects. In the end I recommended to put interest on thematical sections, where the impact is more effective, an improvement of marketing activities and promotion, networking of academicicians, workers of state administration and bussinesmen and actions, which could help to eliminate thinking about an administration border as a barrier.
