Abstract:

Matematika a matematické modely jsou nedílnou součástí v podstatě všech oblastí fyziky. Cílem této práce je ukázat na výzkumu konkrétního biofyzikálního problému, jak může matematický model takového jevu vypadat. Společně se svým školitelem a konzultantem se zabývám výzkumem jevů odehrávajících se v primární fázi fotosyntézy. Konkrétně se jedná o modelování přenosu excitační energie ve fotosyntetických systémech purpurových bakterií. Zkoumáme vliv různých druhů nekorelovaného i korelovaného statického nepořádku na excitonové stavy a časový vývoj anizotropie fluorescence molekulárních prstenců, které jsou obsaženy ve světlosběrných komplexech LH2 a LH4 purpurových bakterií. Uvažujeme nekorelovaný statický nepořádek v lokálních excitačních energiích, transferintegrálech, radiálních a úhlových pozicích molekul. Korelovaný statický nepořádek zahrnujeme ve formě eliptické deformace v lokálních excitačních energiích a transferintegrálech. V úvahu bereme také vliv interakce studovaného systému s fononovou lázní, tzv. dynamický nepořádek.

Abstract:

Mathematics and mathematical models are integral part of physics. The aim of this thesis is to show modelling of concrete biophysical problem. I research with my supervisor and consultant the phenomena in primary phase of photosynthesis. We model transfer of excitation energy in photosynthetic systems of purple bacteria. We investigate the influence of the uncorrelated and correlated static disorder on the exciton states and time-development of the fluorescence anisotropy of molecular rings. These molecular rings are included inlight-harvesting compexes LH2 and LH4 of purple bacteria. We take into account uncorrelated static disorder in local excitation energies, transfer integrals, radial and angular positions of molecules and correlated static disorder namely elliptical deformation in local excitation energies and transfer integrals. The interaction of the system with phonon bath (dynamic disorder) is also taken into account.
