Preparation of a business plan for expanding family business activities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na přípravu business plánu pro realizaci podnikatelského záměru konkrétního podniku v podobě krejčovského salonu, kterým je rozšíření aktivit (rodinného) podnikání, vyhodnocení reálnosti podnikatelského záměru a doby návratnosti vložené investice. Jedná se o otevření nové pobočky rodinného podniku. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části. Teoretická východiska slouží k tomu, aby byly pochopeny základní pojmy související s teorií podnikatelského plánu, jeho náležitostmi a strukturou. Zde je značná pozornost věnována rodinnému podnikání, neboť se bakalářská práce zaměřuje na rodinný podnik, a proto je důležité tuto formu podnikání pochopit. Praktická část je zaměřena na aplikaci získaných informací. Nejdříve je stručně představen vybraný podnik. Následně je zpracován konkrétní podnikatelský plán na rozšíření aktivit vybraného podniku a jsou provedeny potřebné analýzy pro tvorbu životaschopného plánu. Hlavním přínosem bakalářské práce je zhodnocení, zda je uvedený projekt realizovatelný a počáteční investice se vrátí za čtyři roky a necelé tři měsíce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the preparation of a business plan and its implementation on a particular company in the form of a tailor's salon, which is the expansion of the family business activities, the evaluation of the realness of a business plan and the time of return of the invested capital. The work is aimed at the opening of a new branch of the family business. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical basis serves to understand the basic concepts related to the theory of a business plan, its requirements and structure. There is a lot of attention paid to a family business as well. The practical part is focused on the application of the information obtained. First, the selected company is briefly introduced. Subsequently, a specific business plan is prepared to expand the activities of the selected company and the necessary analyses are carried out for the creation of a viable plan. The main benefit of the bachelor thesis is the assessment that the project is feasible and the initial investment will be returned in four years and less than three months.
