Diplomová práce se zabývá sebevraždou a jejími psychosociálními aspekty. Teoretická část vymezuje základní definice a pojmy, nastiňuje historický a náboženský kontext. Dále zkoumá proces sebevraždy od sebevražedných myšlenek až po vykonané suicidium. Uvádí způsoby provedení podle Mezinárodní klasifikace nemocí, psychosociální aspekty a motivy vedoucí k sebevraždě. This thesis deals with suicide and its psychosocial aspects. The theoretical part specifies basic definitions and terminology and outlines historical and religious context. It also analyses the process of suicide from suicidal thoughts to fatal attempted acts.
