Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem „Dlouhověcí lidé od 90 let a jejich pohled na současný svět“ se zabývá problematikou dlouhověkých lidí a v rámci jejich minulosti také pohledem na současný svět a mladší generaci. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a výzkumnou. Teoretická část popisuje proces stárnutí a stáří jako vývojovou etapu. Zabývá se postavením seniora ve společnosti - v minulosti i současnosti a nastiňuje předsudky vůči starým lidem. Stěžejním tématem je dlouhověkost, její vývoj v čase. Ve výzkumném šetření jsou klíčové životní příběhy respondentů. Ty jsou zpracovány pomocí narativní analýzy. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jaký je pohled dlouhověkých lidí na současný svět a zároveň zachytit některé milníky jejich života, které mohou mít vliv právě na jejich vnímání současného světa.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis titled Long-lived People Over 90 and their Outlook on the Contemporary World deals with long-lived people and it also concerns, with respect to their past, their outlook on the contemporary world and young people. The work is divided into the theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the process of aging and the old age as a stage of development. It deals with the status of old people in society in the past and the present, and outlines the prejudice against the elderly. The main topic is longevity, its development in time. The research survey includes the respondents´ crucial life stories. These are processed by using the narrative analysis. The aim of this thesis is to find out the view of long-lived people on the contemporary world while capturing some of the milestones of their lives which may affect their perception of the contemporary world.
