Ripeness for Kindergarten

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zralostí dítěte pro mateřskou školu. V teoretické části popisuje faktory, které zralost dítěte pro mateřskou školu ovlivňují, jaké jsou podmínky mateřských škol, jaká je předpokládaná úroveň dovedností dítěte a jak probíhá adaptace dítěte na mateřskou školu. Ve výzkumné části zjišťuje, jak je dítě vstupující do mateřské školy rozvinuto v oblasti řeči, sebeobsluhy a sociální vyspělosti, a kterým z těchto dovedností přikládají největší důležitost učitelky mateřských škol. Zjišťuje také, jaké jsou nejčastější obtíže dětí při adaptaci na mateřskou školu a jaké jsou projevy dítěte nezralého pro mateřskou školu. Pomocí pozorování a testování dětí nastupujících do mateřské školy bylo zjištěno, že dítě s vyšší úrovní dovedností dítěte v uvedených oblastech je dítě pro mateřskou školu zpravidla zralejší než dítě s nižší úrovní dovedností. V rámci kazuistik dětí, které měly po nástupu do mateřské školy výraznější obtíže, je popsán vliv dalších faktorů na zralost pro mateřskou školu. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření bylo zjištěno, že učitelky mateřských škol nepovažují žádnou z oblastí dovedností dítěte za důležitější, byly také popsány projevy nezralého dítěte. Zároveň bylo poukázáno na obtížnost řešení situace, kdy je do mateřské školy přijato dítě nezralé.

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with the theme of ripeness for kindergarten. In the first part we can find factors, that affect the ripeness for kindergarten, there are also described conditions od kindergartens, what is the expected sklil level of the child entering a kindergarten, and how the child adapts to kindergarten attnendace. The empirical part of the thesis finds out, what is the level of skills of the child entering a kindergarten in the speech area, self-service area and social maturity area, and finds out, which area of skills is the most important for kindergarten teachers. It also identifies the most common troubles during the child adaptation and describes, when is the child considered to be unripened for kindergarten. By observing and testing the children entering a kindergarten it was found, that child with the higher child´s skills level is more mature to kindergarten attendace than a child with lower level od skills. The case studies describes the cildren with more significant troubles during the adaptation for kindergarten and shows the impact of other factores affecting the ripenes for kindergarten. Using a questionnaire survey it was found, that kindergarten teachers do not consider any of the child´s skill areas to be more important, it was also described the the child, which is considered to be unripened for kindergarten. It also shows the difficulty of solving the situation, in which an immature child is admitted to kindergarten.
