Emergency calls for paediatric patients with Safeguarding concerns

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on emergency calls for paediatric patients with safe-guarding concerns in terms of social and legal issues. It is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical section the most common cases with safeguarding concerns are described along with patient referral issues to the destination healthcare facility. The practical part is devoted to a retrospective analysis of the quantity and cause of these cases per year. The number of patients in the South Moravian Region compared to the whole country is given.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá prípadmi výjazdov zdravotníckej záchrannej služby k detským pacientom, ktoré splňujú ohlasovaciu povinnosť, z hľadiska sociálnopráv-nej problematiky. Práca je rozdelená na teoretickú a praktickú časť. V teoretickej časti sú popísané najčastejšie prípady výjazdov spadajúce do tejto kategórie a problematika smerovania pacientov do cieľového zariadenia. Praktická časť sa ve-nuje retrospektívnej analýze informácií o množstve týchto prípadov za rok a o príčine výjazdu zdravotníckej záchrannej služby. Ďalej je uvedené porovnanie počtu pacien-tov v Juhomoravskom kraji a v celej republike.
