Analysis of communication abilities of children with specific language impairment before school age

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá úrovní komunikačních schopností dětí s vývojovou dysfázií před nástupem do základní školy a dalších neřečových schopností, jejichž dostatečné rozvinutí je předpokladem pro snadný počátek školní docházky. V teoretické části se nachází vymezení základní terminologie vývojové dysfázie, etiologie jejího vzniku a symptomy přítomné v řeči i neřečových oblastech. Kapitola o školní zralosti a odkladu školní docházky rovněž vymezuje základní termíny, složky školní zralosti a způsoby její diagnostiky. Popisuje průběh zápisu do 1. ročníku, případné udělení odkladu školní docházky a náplň práce v onom roce. Praktická část shrnuje informace z výzkumného šetření, rozpracované do případových studií pěti děti s vývojovou dysfázií. Analyzuje řečový vývoj těchto dětí, úroveň komunikačních i neřečových schopností a popisuje práci s dítětem v roce odkladu v domácím prostředí i v mateřské škole. Přílohy jsou k dispozici na katedře speciální pedagogiky.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the level of communication skills of children with the specific language impairment before the school age and the other non-speech skills, which need to be developed enough for an easy start of the school attendance. The theoretical part covers the basic terminology of the specific language impairment, the aetiology of genesis and the symptoms in speech and non-speech skills. The chapter about school maturity and postponement of the school attendance is also concerned with the basic terms, the school maturity skills and the ways of diagnosing. The work describes the process of enrolment for the first grade and postponement of the school attendance and the way of work during the postponement year. The practical part summarizes the information from the research which covers the case histories of five children with specific language impairment. The case histories analyse the speech development of the children, the level of the speech and non-speech skills and describes work with the child at home or at nursery school during the postponement year. The attachments are available at the department of special education.
