The Tap Tap and Its Members' Lives with Physical Disability

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo charakterizovat život lidí s tělesným postižením a zjistit, jak členství v hudební skupině The Tap Tap ovlivňuje jejich život. Teoretická část diplomové práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol, kde je blíže specifikované tělesné postižení, diagnózy respondentů, psychika osob s tělesným postižením a jaký má tělesné postižení sociální význam, poté jaký vliv má hudba na lidi s tělesným postižením. Popsány byly sociální skupiny a lidé s tělesným postižením a nakonec jsou uvedeny bližší informace o hudební skupině The Tap Tap. Empirická část obsahuje vyhodnocení kvalitativního výzkumu, který se uskutečnil za pomoci strukturovaných rozhovorů s otevřenými otázkami. Nejprve byla provedena analýza a interpretace rozhovorů, poté zhodnocení výsledků a zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka. Diplomová práce byla zakončena navrhovanými opatřeními, závěrem a do seznamu příloh byl přiložen jeden ukázkový rozhovor. Zjištěné poznatky přinesly přínosné informace nejen do speciálně pedagogické praxe.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis was to characterize lives of physically disabled people and to determine how their relationship within The Tap Tap band influences their lives. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into four chapters in which the physical disable people and their psyche are specified. It determines the social status of the physically disabled people and the influence of music on those people with detailed pieces of information about the physically handicapped people. Finally, the music band The Tap Tap was introduced. The empirical part contains evaluation of the qualitative research that was realized by a structured interview with open-ended questions. First, there was an analysis and interpretation of interviews, then the result assessment and finally, the fundamental research question was resolved. The diploma thesis was concluded by suggested actions and measures. The sample interview was attached in the list of attachments at the end of the thesis. The discovered results are valuable for further special education.
