Didactic Games in Mathematics Education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Didaktické hry ve výuce matematiky“ se zabývá problematikou používání didaktických her v hodinách matematiky na základní škole. Tato práce je složena ze dvou hlavních částí, teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část seznamuje s pojmy hra, didaktická hra. Představuje hru jako výukovou metodu. Dále se soustřeďuje na hru v matematice a jsou zde uvedeny ukázky konkrétních matematických her. Praktická část je věnována kvantitativnímu výzkumnému šetření, které zjišťuje, jaký je postoj žáků běžných základních škol k používání didaktických her ve výuce matematiky. Například Jaký je názor těchto žáků na didaktické hry používané jejich učiteli ve výuce matematiky. Jak často by chtěli, aby učitelé do výuky hry zařazovali. Jaký je jejich názor na užitečnost těchto her ve výuce a jestli si myslí, že by didaktické hry mohly pomoci zvýšit oblíbenost matematiky.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis “Didactic Games in Mathematics Education” deals with issue of using of didactic games in mathematics lessons in primary school. This work consists of two main parts, theoretical and practical. The Theoretical part introduces the concepts of game, didactic game. It introduces game as a teaching method. It also focuses on the game in mathematics and it includes some examples of mathematics games. The practical part is devoted to quantitative research, which determines attitude of primary school pupils to using of didactic games in mathematics education. How often they would like to that teachers to use didactic games in education. It also determines their opinion on the usefulness of didactic games in education and what the pupils think about opinion, that the didactic games could raise the partiality of pupils to mathematics.
