Gallery as an Interface: Towards Strategies of Presentation and Mediation of Media Art
Abstract:
Změna pojetí umění a přístupu k jeho prezentaci přináší od 60. let 20. století nové formy umělecké tvorby. Do výstavních prostor postupně vstupuje také mediální umění. Proměňuje se prezentace uměleckých děl i jejich vnímání divákem. Na vybraných dílech mediálního umění (video art, video instalace, virtuální a počítačové umění) budeme sledovat způsoby, jak umění nových médií do galerie vstupuje.
Abstract:
The transformation of the conception and presentation of art since 1960s has resulted in new forms of artistic production. Media art has been gradually integrating into gallery space. Both presentation of works of art and the perception of its viewers has been gradually transforming.
