Crime control and the Application of Criminal sanctions Crime prevention Strategy

Abstract:

Anotace Bakalářská práce se zabývá kontrolou kriminality a její realizací trestněprávní politikou, kriminální strategií prevence a významem prevence. V trestněprávní oblasti se práce zaměřuje na význam trestu, jeho funkci a účel v kontrole kriminality. Dále zkoumá alternativními tresty jako prostředek kontroly kriminality a jejich užití v trestním právu České republiky. Stěžejní část práce popisuje strategií prevence kriminality, modely prevence, členěním prevence podle cílového objektu a obsahu, realizaci strategie prevence v České republice na centrální úrovni, jednotlivými resorty vlády a orgány činnými v trestním řízení. V oblasti prevence se také zabývá uskutečňováním projektů strategie prevence na úrovni obcí, jejich propagaci a míře informovanosti obyvatel o těchto projektech. V závěrečné části se práce zaměřuje na zhodnocení preventivního úsilí v České republice.

Abstract:

Abstract The bachelor thesis deals with the crime control and its implementation of criminal law politics, the strategies of crime prevention and the importance of prevention. In the criminal law field, the thesis focuses on the importance of punishment, its function and the purpose in crime control. It also researches the alternative forms of punishments as means of crime control and their usage in the criminal law of the Czech Republic. The main part of this thesis describes the strategy of crime prevention, prevention models, prevention structuring according to the content and the target object, the implementation of prevention strategy in the Czech Republic at the central level, by the various government departments and the state bodies active in criminal proceedings. In the prevention field the thesis also deals with the project realization of the prevention strategy at the municipal level, its propagation and the range of knowledgeableness of these projects. In conclusion, the thesis focuses on the evaluation of preventive efforts in the Czech Republic.
