Diplomová práce se zabývá současnou literární tvorbou pro adolescenty. Teoretická část se věnuje vývoji jedince v období dětství a dospívání, sleduje adolescenci v rozmezí 11 až 20 let a více jako specifickou etapu v životě jedince spojenou se zájmy a volnočasovými aktivitami a vymezuje hlavní znaky literární produkce pro daný věk na pozadí literární tvorby pro dětské a dospělé čtenáře.
