Abstract:
Obsahem práce je zmapování událostí na přelomu 19. a 20. století, které vedly Ameriku k etablování se ve světovou velmoc. Spojené státy americké si začaly uvědomovat, že se stávají světovou velmocí na konci 19. století. Do této doby sledovaly USA zahraniční politiku nevměšování se, tedy v intencích Monroeovy doktríny. Abstract:
This work deals with rise of USA s a world power. I have mapped main facts which happend at the turn of the century. Three most important areas have identified: Economics, army and society. These were the main factors of the rise of USA as a world power.
