Activation of seniors with Alzheimer's disease in homes with a special regime

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na aktivizaci seniorů s Alzheimerovou chorobou v domovech se zvláštním režimem. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na teoretickou a empirickou část. První kapitola teoretické části se zabývá specifikováním demence. Na tuto kapitolu navazuje druhá kapitola, která je zaměřena na nejčastější typ demence, kterým je Alzheimerova choroba. Třetí kapitola se zabývá péčí o seniora s Alzheimerovou chorobou. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je zaměřena na specifikování profese aktivizačního pracovníka a na popis náplně jeho práce, kterou je provádění aktivizačních činností s klienty domova se zvláštním režimem. V empirické části je pomocí kvalitativní výzkumné strategie a polostrukturované rozhovoru zjišťováno, jaká je práce aktivizačních pracovníků v domovech se zvláštním režimem jejich pohledem. V této části práce je nejprve popsána metodologie výzkumu, po které následuje analýza a interpretace dat tohoto výzkumu. Práce je zakončena výsledky výzkumu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the activation of seniors with Alzheimer's disease in homes with a special regime. The work is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the empirical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part deals with the specification of dementia. This chapter is followed by the second chapter, which focuses on the most common type of dementia, which is Alzheimer's disease. The third chapter deals with the care of a senior with Alzheimer's disease. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on specifying the profession of an activation worker and describing the content of his work, which is the implementation of activation activities with clients of a home with a special regime. In the empirical part, using a qualitative research strategy and a semi-structured interview, it is determined what the work of activation workers in homes with a special regime is like from their point of view. In this part of the work, the research methodology is first described, followed by the analysis and interpretation of the research data. The work is concluded with research results.
