Abstract:

LACKOVÁ, Soňa: The financial statements and their sense of financial direction of the firm. [Thesis]. Banking Institute College of Banking Prague. Specialization: Finance. Head: Ing. Alena Andrejovská, PhD. Prešov: 2011. 72 pages. The companies, which want to hold out in exacting competitive surroundings of market economy, they must dedicate not only business activity, but its financial issue too. Only financial healthy firm can be hold at the market. Survive can only these, which to perfection know their financial economic situation, they know about their weakness and strengths. The deficiencies could be eliminated only if they know the reasons. Common method, which function is as know mechanism, is financial analysis. Its characteristic mark is separating substantial from insubstantial facts. It offers many methods as to evaluate financial health of firm. In the final thesis we engaged in evaluate of possibility to use the financial statements for financial direction of firm. We began with datas from the financial statements, putting in order of system of information about firm. The financial statements for the period of year 2008 to year 2010 were base for financial analysis of firm. We putted the accent on the most applicable methods in the conditions our business, analysis of ratio indicators. We interpreted the done information. In the final, we proposed measures for these issues, which showed unsuccessful.

Alena Andrejovská, PhD. Prešov: 2011. 72 s. Firmy, ktoré chcú obstáť v náročnom konkurenčnom prostredí trhovej ekonomiky, musia venovať svoju pozornosť nielen obchodnej stránke podnikateľskej činnosti, ale aj jej finančnej stránke. Iba finančne zdravá firma je schopná udržať sa na trhu. Prežiť môžu len tie, ktoré dokonale poznajú svoju finančno-ekonomickú situáciu, vedia o svojich slabých a silných stránkach. Nedostatky je možné odstrániť len poznaním ich príčin. Všeobecnou metódou, ktorá slúži ako nástroj poznania, je finančná analýza. Jej charakteristickou črtou je oddeľovanie podstatných od nepodstatných javov. Ponúka celý rad metód, ako zhodnotiť finančné zdravie firmy. V našej diplomovej práci sme sa zaoberali zhodnotením možnosti využitia účtovnej závierky pre finančné riadenie firmy. Vychádzali sme z údajov účtovnej závierky, usporiadaného systému informácií o firme. Účtovné výkazy za obdobie rokov 2008 – 2010 tvorili základ databázy pre finančnú analýzu firmy. Dôraz sme kládli na najpoužívanejšiu metódu v podmienkach nášho podnikania, a to na analýzu pomerových ukazovateľov. Spracované údaje sme ekonomicky interpretovali. Na záver sme navrhli možné riešenia pre oblasti, ktoré sa prejavili ako nepriaznivé.
