Burnout syndrome among teachers

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou syndromu vyhoření u pedagogických pracovníků. Je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část diplomové práce obsahuje poznatky získané studiem odborné literatury, související s pojmem syndromu vyhoření, s jeho vznikem, příčinami, fázemi, prevencí a léčbou. V této části je rovněž obsažen výčet rozdílů mezi syndromem vyhoření a jinými negativními psychickými stavy. Druhá část diplomové práce je zaměřena na samotný výzkum výskytu syndromu vyhoření u pedagogických pracovníků. Výzkumné šetření probíhala na 8 středních školách v kraji Vysočina a v Jihomoravském kraji. Cílem této diplomové práce je seskupení informací týkajících se syndromu vyhoření do jednoho celku a vytvořit tak, celiství obraz problematiky syndromu vyhoření pro zájemce o dané téma.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is concerned with issues of burnout syndrome in pedagogical workers. It is divided into two parts.The first part of the diploma thesis contains pieces of knowledge gained by the studying of specialized literature relating to the term of burnout syndrome, its origin, causes, phases, prevention and therapy.In this part there is also included the enumeration of differences between burnout syndrome and other negative psychological states. The second part of diploma thesis is focused on itself research of the occurrence of burnout syndrome in pedagogical workers. Research inquiries were taking place at eight secondary schools in the Highlands Region and in the South Moravian Region.The target of this diploma thesis is gathering pieces of information relating to burnout syndrome into one whole and create the view of burnout issues for the ones interested in such topic.
