The work is going to discuss implications of the Afghan insurgency and differences resulting from different strategic cultures of the relevant actors. Because of the mounting demands to mission in this country and higher pressure it is shown, that the mission is perceived as being essential for further legitimization of the existence of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
