Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou strategického a operativního managementu v malých a středních podnicích. Jedná se aktuální téma již proto, protože controlling se dostává stále více do popředí v řízení podniků, které chtějí uspět na trhu, hlavně podniků, které se nebojí změn a progrese v řízení. Týká se to nejen velkých nadnárodních firem, ale také malých a středních podniků, které si ke controllingu stále hledají cestu. Jako cíl práce bylo stanoveno provedení analýzy kombinace nástrojů controllingu pro dosažení nejvíce efektivní práce manažerů společnosti a zvýšení finančních a ekonomických ukazatelů. Dílčím cílem práce je návrh změn a doporučení pro možnost zlepšení perspektivy podnikání malých a středních firem. S cílem práce je spojena také hypotéza, která zní: Předpokladem je, že malé a střední firmy méně využívají controllingu a stejně tak nevyužívají informace, které by jim mohly pomoci v rozvoji podnikání. Teoretická část se zabývá definováním strategického a operativního controllingu, jeho historií, pojetím a systémovým přístupem. Dále je pak zde definován controlling v oblasti řízení. A to z pohledu jeho konceptu, cílů a funkcí, stejně jako úkolů controllingu a nástrojů, pomocí kterých se dosahuje stanovených cílů, včetně problematiky organizace a začlenění controllingu v rámci hierarchie firmy. Druhá kapitola pak cílí na podnikání malých a středních firem, cíle malých a středních firem a funkcemi. Pojednává se zde také o controllingu a jeho aplikaci v malých a středních firmách. Praktická část popisuje controlling v konkrétním podniku, kde ve své současné podobě nefunguje a je třeba zavést nový systém.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the strategic and operational management in small and medium-sized enterprises. Controlling is getting more and more to the forefront in the management of companies that want to succeed in the market, especially companies that are not afraid of structural change in the management process. It concerns not only the large multinational companies, but also small and medium enterprises that are still looking for the optimal controlling process. As the aim of the work was determined by analyzing a combination of controlling instruments for achieving the most effective work of managers of the company and increase the financial and economic indicators. A partial goal is to draft recommendations for changes and the possibility of improving the prospects of small and medium-sized companies. The hypothesis constitutes the following: The assumption is that small and medium businesses use less controlling; therefore, they have restrictions in accessing information that would help them in business development. The theoretical part deals with defining strategic and operational controlling, its history, the concept of systems approach. Furthermore, it is herein defined controlling management. And in terms of its concept, goals and functions, as well as controlling tasks and tools with which to achieve a set of objectives, including the problems of organizing and integrating controlling in the hierarchy of the company. The second chapter targets the business of small and medium-sized companies and their functions. It also addresses the application of controlling in small and medium-sized companies. The practical part describes controlling in a particular company, which in its current form is not working and needs a new system.
