Development of Culture and Role of Non-profit Organizations and Local Action Groups in the Šternberk Microregion

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rozvojem místní kultury v mikroregionu Šternbersko z pohledu spolupráce obcí, místních akčních skupin a místních nestátních neziskových organizací. Toto téma je důležité z pohledu kvality života obyvatel v obcích a městech. Bohatý kulturní život zvyšuje jeho atraktivitu a utváří vazby mezi jeho občany. S tímto tématem jsou spojeny i určité problémy, například financování místní kultury. Cílem této diplomové práce bylo analyzovat roli jednotlivých aktérů místní kultury a jejich vzájemnou spolupráci a navrhnout opatření pro jeho další rozvoj. V této práci byla použita metoda řízeného rozhovoru s přímými aktéry místní kultury, sběr informací z odborných publikací a internetových zdrojů, na základě kterých byla sestavena SWOT analýza. Řízenými rozhovory bylo zjištěno, že důležitou roli v místní kultuře hrají neziskové organizace a spolky, které udržují a rozvíjejí její činnost. Tato práce přispěla k analýze současného stavu místní kultury v mikroregionu a k určení směru jejího dalšího rozvoje v budoucnosti s návrhy projektů.

Abstract:

The thesis paper deals with the development of local culture in the micro-region Šternbersko in terms of the cooperation of municipalities, local action groups and local non-governmental non-profit-making organizations. The issue is of importance in terms of quality of life of residents in communities and towns. Rich cultural life enhances the attractiveness of the region and creates links among its inhabitants. There are certain problems related to this subject, e.g. financing of local culture. The aim of this thesis paper is to analyse the role of the different actors of local culture and their mutual cooperation, and to propose measures for further development. In this work, the method of controlled interview by direct actors of local culture was used, as well as collection of information from professional publications and internet sources, on the basis of which a SWOT analysis was drawn up. It was found out in the controlled interviews that non-governmental non-profit-making organizations and associations play an important role in the local culture, by maintaining and developing cultural activities. The work has contributed to the analysis of the current state of local culture in the micro-region and to the identification of the direction of its further development in future, together with proposal of projects.
