Lecturer’s Programs at Vysocina Museum Trebic and their value for institution

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá lektorskými programy v Muzeu Vysočiny Třebíč a jejich přínosy pro instituci. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a analytickou. Počáteční fáze teoretické části pojednává o přístupech, standardech a celkovém pojetí muzejní a galerijní pedagogiky v zahraničí, včetně popisu edukačních plánů několika elitních kulturních organizací. Následuje zakotvení tématu v podobě představení sledovaného muzea, osobnosti lektorky, schématu lektorské činnosti a průběhu edukačního programu. Analytická část se věnuje rozboru dat dostupných v oficiálních dokumentech muzea z oblasti jeho návštěvnosti a finančního rozpočtu. Ze získaných výsledků jsou následně vyvozeny patřičné závěry. Závěrečná fáze je věnována průzkumu motivace a spokojenosti návštěvníků vyhodnocenému na základě dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with lecturing programs in the Museum of Vysočina Třebíč and their benefits for the institution. The thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical sections. The first part of the theoretical section focuses on the approaches, standards and overall concept of museum and gallery pedagogy abroad, including a description of educational plans of several elite cultural organizations. This is followed by anchoring of the topic in the form of a presentation of the said museum, the personality of the lecturer, the scheme of the lecturing activities and the course of the educational programme. The analytical section focuses on the analysis of data available in the official documents of the museum in the area of its attendance and financial budget. Appropriate conclusions are then deduced from the obtained results. The final section is devoted to the survey of motivation and satisfaction of visitors which is evaluated on the basis of a questionnaire survey.
