The analysis of legislation changes in social policy relating to the issue of compensatory aids

Abstract:

Diplomová práce analyzuje legislativní změny postupu získání příspěvku na pořízení kompenzační pomůcky způsobenou reformou sociálního systému. V první části jsou shrnuty poznatky o veřejném sektoru, neziskových organizacích, sociálních službách a kompenzačních pomůckách. Druhá část diplomové práce se zabývá představením vybrané obecně prospěšné společnosti a příslušného kompetentního úřadu, legislativní úpravou příspěvku na pořízení kompenzační pomůcky před reformou i po ní. Výstupem práce je zhodnocení celé situace v této oblasti a prognóza do budoucna.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the changes in legislature governing the process of applying for a state subsidy in order to purchase compensatory aids for disablity following the social security system reform. The first part deals with facts related to the public sector, NGOs , social services and compensatory aids. The second part presents a case of a charitable organisation and the corresponding government office. It further deals with the changes in subsidizing purchases of compensatory aides and compares the situation before and after the reform. The thesis attempts to evaluate the situation and predict future developments.
