Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá genderově-neutrálními anglickými zájmeny, konkrétně jednotným "they", generickým maskulinem "he" a dvojí formou "he or she". Práce je rozdělená na dvě části - teoretickou a analytickou. Teoretická část se zabývá genderem v anglickém jazyce, generickými zájmeny a jejich historií. Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis focuses on gender-neutral English pronouns, namely singular "they", generic "he" and the double pronoun form "he or she". The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and analytical. The theoretical part concerns itself with gender in English language, generic pronouns and their history.
