Contents of Chamomile officinalis

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá stanovením obsahových látek heřmánku pravého (Matricaria chamomilla synonymum Matricaria recutita). Cílem práce bylo prostudovat vývoj metodiky stanovení obsahových látek a jednotlivých složek podle normy Českého lékopisu od roku 1997 až 2023 (tj. 2002, 2005, 2009, 2017). Laboratorní část experimentu spočívala v destilaci vodní parou vybraných vzorků heřmánku pravého z různých proveniencí a následné analýze složek silice. Obsah složek silice byl stanoven pomocí plynové chromatografie s hmotnostní detekcí (GC/MS). Byly sledovány složky silice α-bisabolol oxid A, (-)-α -bisabolol, α-bisabolon oxid A, α-bisabolol oxid B, chamazulen a farnesen. Obsah silic se pohyboval od 0,15 do 0,4 ml/100 g vzorku. Obsah α -bisabololu se pohyboval v rozmezí od 1,5 do 57,2 %, obsah chamazulenu byl v rozmezí 7,5 – 30,4 %, α-bisabolol-oxid A se pohyboval od 0,6 do 41,7 %, α-bisabolol oxid B byl v rozmezí 1,4 - 29,5 %, farnesen se pohyboval od 4 do 27,9 % a obsah α-bisabolonu oxidu A byl v rozmezí od 0,1 do 18,3 %. Při porovnání jednotlivých vydání lékopisů bylo zjištěno, že největší rozdíly v metodice stanovení obsahových látek jsou mezi lékopisem z roku 1997 a 2017.

Abstract:

The aim of the work was to study the development of the methodology for the determination of the content of chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) and its individual components according to the standard of the Czech Pharmacopoeia from 1997 to 2023 (i.e. 2002, 2005, 2009, 2017). The laboratory part of the experiment consisted of steam distillation of selected samples of chamomile from different origins and subsequent analysis of the components of the essential oil. The content of essential oil components was determined by gas chromatography with-mass detection The monitored components were α-bisabolol oxide A, (-)-α-bisabolol, α-bisabolone oxide A, α-bisabolol oxide B, chamazulene and farnesene were monitored. Essential oil content ranged from 0.15 to 0.4 ml/100 g sample. The (-)-α-bisabolol content ranged from 1.5 to 57.2%, the chamazulene content from 7.5 to 30.4%, the α-bisabolol oxide A content from 0.6 to 41.7%, the α-bisabolol oxide B content from 1.4 to 29.5%, the farnesene content from 4 to 27.9% and the α-bisabolone oxide A content from 0.1 to 18.3%. When comparing the different pharmacopoeias, the greatest differences of active compounds determination were found between the 1997 and 2017 pharmacopoeias.
