AM-GM inequality in examples
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se podrobně věnuje využití nerovnosti mezi aritmetickým a geometrickým průměrem při dokazování algebraických a geometrických nerovností. Text práce je rozdělen do dvou kapitol. První z nich se věnuje zformulování věty o AG-nerovnosti a předkládá několik důkazů založených na různých principech. Druhá kapitola je sbírkou řešených příkladů.
Abstract:
The thesis explores in detail the use of the inequality of arithmetic and geometric means when proving algebraic and geometric inequalities. The thesis is divided into two sections. The first one deals with the theorem formulation of the AM-GM inequality and presents several proofs based on various principles. The second section contains the exercises used.
