The labor market from a gender perspective in The Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnotit fungování trhu práce z genderového pohledu v České republice se zaměřením na problematiku zaměstnavatelnosti a nezaměstnanosti žen. Teoretická část se zaobírá základními východisky trhu práce a genderovými pojmy, které s trhem práce souvisí. V praktické části jsou zobrazeny různé genderové statistiky v průběhu let se zaměřením na zaměstnavatelnost a nezaměstnanost žen v České republice. Závěrečná část je zaměřena na návrhy ke zvýšení zaměstnavatelnosti žen. V bakalářské práci jsou využita sekundární data z odborné literatury, Českého statistického úřadu a dalších veřejně dostupných zdrojů.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to evaluate the functioning of the labor market from a gender perspective in the Czech republic with a focus on the issue of women´s employability and unemployment. The theoretical part deals with the basic starting points of the labor market and gender concepts, which are closely related to the labor market. In the practical part, various gender statistics are shown over the years with a focus on the employment and unemployment of women in the Czech Republic. The final part is focused on proposals to increase the employability of women. The bachelor´s thesis uses secondary data from professional literature, the Czech Statistical Office and other publicly available sources.
