An interactive tool for teaching National history and gography in the fourth grade of primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá využíváním interaktivní výukové pomůcky a interaktivní tabule ve výuce. Teoretická část práce je věnována charakteristice kvantitativního a kvalitativního pedagogického výzkumu, učební pomůcky, interaktivní tabule a stylů učení žáků. Obsahuje také stručný popis návrhu a vývoje interaktivní výukové pomůcky pro předmět Vlastivěda pro čtvrtý ročník ZŠ, která byla vytvořena v rámci bakalářské práce. V praktické části je popsán a vyhodnocen pedagogický experiment, který měl prokázat vyšší nabyté znalosti žáků experimentální skupiny, tj. žáků, kteří interaktivní pomůcku ve výuce používali, než u žáků kontrolní skupiny, kteří byli vyučováni klasickým způsobem. Kromě nabytých znalostí žáků byl také porovnáván úbytek znalostí žáků s odstupem jednoho roku. Dále byla provedena analýza pozorování vyučování v experimentální třídě a rozhovoru s vyučující, která interaktivní pomůcku a tabuli používala. Pomůcka byla nasazena do výuky v období září-říjen 2013-2015 na Základní škole Volgogradská v Ostravě-Zábřehu.

Abstract:

The thesis studies the usage of an interactive tool and an interactive board in teaching. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of the quantitative and qualitative pedagogical research, teaching aid, interactive tool and pupils´ learning styles. It also contains a brief description of the design and development of the interactive tool for teaching National history and geography in the fourth grade of primary school. This tool was developed as a part of the bachelor thesis. In the practical part of the thesis the pedagogical experiment is being described and evaluated. The aim of the experiment was to prove the higher level of acquired knowledge of the pupils from the experimental group, i. e. pupils who used the tool in classes, compared to the pupils of the group that did not have the tool at use. Another purpose of the experiment was to compare the decrease of knowledge of the pupils from both groups after one year. The next part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the observation in the experimental classes. An interview with the teacher who taught in the experimental group was realized and analysed, too. The teaching tool was used in National history and geography classes in September and October 2013-2015 at Volgogradska primary school.
