Comparative analysis of approaches and economic contexts of spatial planning in Prague, London, Copenhagen and Randstad

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá územním plánováním v Praze, Londýně, Kodani a konurbaci Randstad, přičemž řeší zejména přístupy k rozmístění nové výstavby a veřejných zelených ploch. Teoretická část definuje základní pojmy spojené s touto problematikou a poskytuje ucelený pohled na obecné ekonomické souvislosti územního plánování a specifické přístupy k organizaci nové výstavby ve vybraných regionech. V praktické části jsou metodou regresní analýzy testovány statistické hypotézy na základě studií publikovaných Eurostatem a The World Bank, které jsou zaměřeny na kvalitu života ve městech a schvalovací procesy. Dále je také uvedeno srovnání ukazatelů cen nemovitostí. Výsledkem práce jsou nalezené vztahy mezi faktory územního plánování a ukazateli spokojenosti života ve městech.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with spatial planning in Prague, London, Copenhagen and Randstad, and addresses in particular approaches to the layout of new construction and public green spaces. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts associated with this issue and provides a comprehensive overview of the general economic contexts of spatial planning and specific approaches to the organization of new construction in selected regions. In the practical part, statistical hypotheses, based on the studies provided by Eurostat and The World Bank are tested using the regresive analysis method, focusing on quality of life in cities and approval processes. Furthermore, a comparison of property price indices is also presented. The result of the thesis establishes the relationship between the factors of spatial planning and the indicators of the satisfaction of life in towns.
