Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou nezaměstnanosti v České republice. Pozornost je zaměřena především na Ústecký kraj, který dlouhodobě patří mezi regiony s nejvyšším počtem nezaměstnaných obyvatel. Aktivní politika zaměstnanosti je téma aktuální, jsou na ni vynaloženy nemalé finanční prostředky ze státního rozpočtu České republiky, ale i z fondů Evropské unie. The thesis deals with the problem of unemployment in the Czech Republic. Attention is paid mostly to the Usti Region, which has long belonged to among the regions with the highest level of the unemployed. The active labour market policy is a current topic.
