Imperative and other Forms of Instructions in Public Written Communication

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské diplomové práci se zaměřuji na to, jakým způsobem s námi komunikují informační tabule umístěné na veřejných místech v Číně. Zabývám se zejména informačními tabulemi, které komunikují formou imperativu nebo jiného větného pokynu. Zajímají mě otázky formy, lexikálních prostředků, syntaktické struktury, stylu, kontextu a grafické úpravy. V práci nejprve teoreticky analyzuji problematiku imperativu v čínštině a poté v souladu s navrženou strukturou provádím analýzu textů primárně sebraných a sekundárně získaných informačních tabulí. Závěrem formuluji zjištění, která lze na základě provedené analýzy zobecnit ve vztahu k veřejné písemné komunikaci pomocí informačních tabulí v Číně

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis is focused on the means the information street signs communicate with us in public places in China. I mainly deal with information signs which communicate by the form of written imperative or other sentence directive. I am interested in the questions of the form, lexical means, syntactic structure, style, context and graphic layout. In my work I firstly analyse the theoretical questions of imperative in Chinese and then according to the derived structure of the work I analyse the primarily obtained and secondarily found information signs. In my discussion and conclusion I formulate the findings which can be according to previous analysis generalised with relation to the public written communication by the information signs in China
