Práce se zabývá chybami ve výslovnosti u českých a polských studentů angličtiny, kteří právě nastoupili do prvního ročníku na universitě. V teoretické části jsou popsány hláskové systémy angličtiny, češtiny a polštiny a také suprasegmentální znaky všech tří jazyků (slovní a větný akcent, rytmus, intonace). The thesis deals with pronunciation errors of Czech and Polish first-year university students of English. In the theoretical section, sound systems and suprasegmental features (stress, rhythm, intonation) of English, Czech and Polish are described.
